I am currently studying a bachelors of science psychology at the University of Canberra. I enjoy basketball and soccer, I like readings and cooking. I decided to begin tutoring because while I always succeeded in maths my friend was struggling and it didn’t feel right to be teaching my full potential when she couldn’t. So I helped her and she started to understand what we were doing better leading her to success. I then joined our schools tutoring team and found a joy for helping students find a joy for maths. As a tutor I always try to listen to the student’s way of working problems so I can understand how they are getting an answer and provide a more simple way to solve the problem that will make sense to them and one that they will use going further. As a tutor I aim to never give the answer instead I will guide you through the solution. I always try to make learning fun and encouraging so students fear in the subject will reduce while their confidence gains.
