Hello there! My name is Lydia Gassin and I am a tutor at Tutor2you! I am currently in my first year of university, studying to become a teacher. Apart from my studies, I am indulged into the Greek culture as I am half Greek. I participate in two Greek dancing groups, as well as teach Greek dancing at a Greek school. As I have experience with children, I thought tutoring would be a great opportunity because I want to gain more experience which would help improve my teaching skills. Some qualities I have that makes me a good tutor is I have patience, organised, passionate, and determined. By having patience, the client does not feel rushed with their learning, hence I like to see clients work at their own pace, which works best for them. Also, passion and determination are key qualities, as it assists clients to try and do their best when they are overcoming a challenge or trying to understand a concept. Lastly, I am very organised. I like to have structure, so if you request me to be your tutor, I will respond to you straight away and organise times for a call and consultation.

We take pride in our reliability, independence, excellent communication and have respect for not only others but ourselves. For many, these are mantras but for us, they come naturally.
We Inspire
We're confident in our abilities, as we've 'been there and done that'. We acknowledge that students look up to us and as such respect the opportunity we have to make a positive and lasting impact on our student's lives.
We Empathise
Deep down we recognise that we're in the business of helping people. We recognise and respect the challenges that not only our students but their parents face.
