Hello! My name is Jessie Duduc, and I am currently in my second year of my Bachelor of Engineering (honours) and Bachelor of Science dual degree, where I am specialising in mechatronic engineering, and majoring in biomedical science and computer engineering. I graduated from Hillcrest Christian College in 2022 with an ATAR of 92.30, earning A’s in Physics, Chemistry, Literature, and Film, TV & NM, and multiple high-achieving awards. In my QCE External Examinations, I achieved raw scores of 80% in Maths Methods, 92% in Physics, Chemistry, Literature, and Music, and 96% for Film, TV & New Media. I also completed two university subjects in 2022 (Engineering Mechanics through Griffith University, and Introduction to Musicianship at the University of Queensland), as well as achieving highly in various extracurricular activities, including basketball, athletics, orchestra, debating, and numerous academic competitions. During my studies, I participated in the Queensland Youth Parliament, representing the member for Burleigh, alongside my involvement as a College prefect through my school. I am dedicated, outgoing, and invested about determining the most effective and efficient study methods for students, accounting for individual strengths, weaknesses, backgrounds, and personal interests. I have achieved a scholarship through my student accommodation for my spirit, character, and openness towards supporting others. I am both highly logical and personable, and passionate about supporting fellow students to achieve above and beyond their goals. I am very enthusiastic about helping others get through the toughest years of high school with support and encouragement.
