My name is Prachi, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Psychology Honours. This program allows me to delve deep into understanding human behavior and the mind, which is something I am deeply passionate about. I love reading novels especially psychological thrillers and literary fiction. I'm also a big coffee enthusiast, and there's nothing like sipping a cup of coffee while watching a good sitcom. It's my way of recharging. I decided to start tutoring because it aligns perfectly with my long-term goal of transitioning into an educator after I gain experience as an organisational psychologist. I've always found that teaching comes naturally to me, and my learning style often involves explaining concepts as if I’m teaching someone else. Plus, I've had some meaningful experiences volunteering as a tutor in India with my mom, which further fueled my passion for teaching. I believe my strengths as a tutor come from my deep understanding of psychological concepts, which I can explain in a clear and relatable way. My natural inclination to teach and my experience in both learning and tutoring environments give me the ability to adapt my teaching style to meet the unique needs of each student. I’m patient, empathetic, and dedicated to helping my students not just understand the material, but also develop a genuine interest in it.
