Hi, my name is Sean. After spending a decade working in school libraries I am now studying a Certificate III of Individual Support in Disability while part time foster caring. When I'm not caring for others I'm listening to music and audiobooks, playing indie developed video games, reading comics, watching movies and tv shows, colouring my hair, and chatting and dancing with friends. I love stories of all kinds and am fascinated by the way different people think and innovations people can come up with to deal with various problems. I have been wanting to be a mentor for a while, as I have always felt a call to guide the next generation, even teaching reading to primary children while I was in secondary school, and through foster caring found that tutoring is an area that I can assist children. Though I received scholarships in school, I struggled with learning differently to others and found ways to overcome those to continue studying, so I can understand how children can struggle and work with them to find the ways that work for them. Despite being an avid reader as a child, I always excelled at mathematics and science so I feel that I am quite well rounded in my thinking and learning.
