I am currently studying a Master of Teaching (Secondary) to become a Mathematics and Environmental Science teacher. My hobbies include playing video games and participating in an online scavenger hunt. I decided to start tutoring back in 2020 to see if I'd enjoy teaching, and it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I have recently started branching out to tutor in person rather than online. I have been developing my skills in assisting students become problem solvers who enjoy mathematics. I genuinely enjoy mathematics and science and love connecting the curriculum to the real world. I am proudly and loudly a Queer and Transgender person, as well as Autistic and ADHD. I use my lived experience as a guide - often I am capable of connecting with other ADHD students and can help them process and understand information. I use she/her/hers and they/them/their pronouns.
