Hello my name is Shamera Fernando, I am currently a final year student at RMIT studying a five year double degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and International Business. I am also working as an electrical engineer, contributing to the fabrication of integrated gas analyser systems. I currently tutor Mathematics from prep to year 10 including Units 1/2 and 3/4 for Maths Methods and Further for VCE student. Along with Maths I tutor Junior science and units 1/2 and 3/4 Physics for VCE Students. I graduated VCE in 2017 with an ATAR of 88 scoring above 40 for Maths Methods, Further and Japanese. I have been tutoring since I was in high school when I was in year 10 in 2015 mostly assisting friends and family. I began working with Tutor2You in my first year at RMIT in 2018. Teaching has been a passion which I have pursued throughout the years and have now taught all year levels from prep to year 12 for at least 1 term. I do not just focus on teaching, for me a main part of my role as a tutor is to improve my students studying abilities and to ensure by the end of the year they have a coherent understanding of the subjects they are learning.
